What was the name of the film that was made in the 90's, similar 2 the Full Monty but was shown a few years b4?

I think it was only shown on tv, there was a group of men (mixed ages) who were coal miners or steelworkers, maybe set in leeds (but don't quote me on that) and as I remember, they turned to stripping. It definitely wasn't The Full Monty (although it sounds like it). Hope someone can answer this as my friends don't believe there was a film like I've described
