Do Christian missionaries damage Indigenous cultures?

Yes, in most cases this happens. Case in point: the Spanish Empire, forced integration of Aboriginal Australians throught the missionary system. It's ignorance most of the time. Though at present, indigenous cultures are being preserved through missionaries also, against forced integration. The indigenous culture of the traditional owners of my home town in the Philippines are more threatened by integration rather than religion.
