What is wrong with my male guppy?

I have a 10 gallon tank. 2 platys 2 hifin varitus 1 rasbora tetra and a male guppy. the male was swimming around alot until the female recently died the week she died she hid in the back by the filter then bloated. he now kind of hides in the back does he need a female guppy
