Could humanity do this?

I personally don't believe in God, but lets all ume his existence was proven for the moment. Since he would have created the universe and everything in it, including the laws of nature and science, through the big bang it would be safe to ume he is also restricted to by these laws just as humans are. If then, he decided to destroy the Earth through these laws by producing Hurricanes/Tornadoes, disease, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, planet killing asteroids etc, do you think that humanity has the technology and knowledge it would need to overcome whatever God could throw at us and why?
