How can I prevent myself from falling in love with ugly guys?

I think my some of my friends crushes are creepy, they think they're intense. I think my best friend's guy is loud and obnoxious, she thinks he's funny. They think the guys I like are immature, I think they're playful. Etc. To each their own. You have an extraordinary vocabulary for someone who hasn't figured this out. Real question?
