Does this guy like me?

I really like this guy, but the only time I get to see him is at lunch or sometimes at the end of the day, but we had never spoken until yesterday when I had the courage to actually initiate a conversation. When I first started talking to him, he seemed relieved and his posture changed and he gave me his attention. I was so nervous so I was stupidly giggling a lot in the beginning, and I saw him smile as if he were thinking "oh girls." I asked him questions and he replied and then reciprocated the action. Then, he ended up asking me some questions himself...like where i go to school, if i had a license (which I kind of thought was weird lol), etc. I told him that I didn't go to school near, and he looked disappointed. He was doing something on his pda or something, but whenever i asked him something or he asked me something, he would always look up and make eye contact with me. During the whole conversation, he seemed fine although anyone could definitely notice some nerve on his face like "omg, she's talking to me" so I'm guessing that he was just really shy. We ended up walking in the same direction at the end of the day....he was right behind me, but he never said anything to me. Eventually, he took another route, and I said bye to him. Only then did he look back and say bye. How do I make him more comfortable when I only have a limited amount of time with him? And since I initiated the first conversation with him, how will I go about starting the second one (uming he doesn't)?
