I have water coming out of my overflow! Why?

Hi sounds like the people who fitted in the combi boiler have left the cold water tank in the loft to supply the cold water for the bathroom and WC, do you have a low water pressure problem ? is the tank connected to the combi boiler ? If water pressure is OK then get the bathroom connected to the water main, should not cost to much to get it changed over.
