My mouse pad on my laptop is acting wierd. I open it up like i do every day and when i move it around it goes?

I open it up like i do every day and when i move it around it goes in the opposite direction. I move it left it goes right. I move it up it goes down. Can anyone give me any tips on how to solve this probe lam.
