How sad is this: Swan kiiled by big dog?

It's very sad, but not as sad as what the New York State Department od Conservation does. At some of the northern bays they shoot swan because the disturb the nesting of canada geese, which are not even indigenous to the area and have become as bad as flying rats. The geese foul everything they touch.
