Was jim morrison deeply in love with death?

I would like to know what do you think about jim morrison knowledge on life and did he really believe that death was the real,best thing as in stones movie The Doors?Why did he cry when he was finished having with judy and her friend in the deleted parts of the movie and did that really happen as the movie claims?Please give me a decent non mean answer to this question.Thanks
