Old rock song possibly blues -- goes boom boom....?

there's a commercial with an older song, sounds either blues or rock and the guy is singing "boom boom boom" then I think he says "pow pow pow" LOL. that's all I know, I hear it randomly on a commercial recently. Anyone know the name? ty.
